Why I do this work

Most of the leaders I work with don’t lack capability, motivation, or commitment.

They carry responsibility — for people, outcomes, and decisions — often in environments where pressure is constant and space to think is limited.

Over time, that pressure accumulates. Not dramatically. Quietly.

My work exists to offer leaders a calm, confidential space to think clearly under strain, so they can lead well without burning out or hardening.

Who I work with

I work primarily with senior managers and directors in operational roles — people who are:

  • Accountable for results and people

  • Expected to steady others while absorbing uncertainty

  • Trusted, experienced, and quietly overloaded

They are not looking to be “fixed”.
They are not looking for motivation or performance pressure.

They are looking for space to think clearly, decide well, and lead in a way they can stand behind.

MEET DAN

I spent 17 years in corporate leadership at Unilever and Lipton, leading complex programmes through sustained pressure, change and transition.

I’ve sat in the meetings where decisions carry consequences.

I’ve lived the tension between delivery, people and expectation.

I know how easy it is for reflection to be crowded out by urgency.

Alongside this, I hold senior pastoral leadership responsibility. This experience has shaped my ability to listen deeply, hold complexity without judgement, and create non-anxious, confidential space — without agenda.

Together, these experiences shape how I work with leaders today.
